Mesa Fathom Bass Amplifier

Deep. Dark. Mysterious.
Down here, evolution is King.

Any design operating under these extremes has to be air-tight. Able to withstand immense pressure. Quick to adapt. Even quicker to respond. The ability to identify a target and strike with precision accuracy and ferocious power determines superiority.

The new Fathom dives into the world of Bass with a bold character possessing all these qualities… a juggernaut of Tone that won’t be stopped.

The bridge invites you aboard with comfort and simplicity–laid out to serve, not hinder, creativity.

The all-tube preamp pumps fresh, clean air, breathing sweet until coaxed – then growling with expressive attitude. The savvy crew of Tone controls is complemented by the VOICE feature that stands front-and-center to salute all popular styles of the art. Four unique and different EQ curves provide a port of call for any voyage a bassist may yearn to take.

The heart of every ship is its engine, and the Fathom is mighty as any M-Class in the Fleet. She harnesses a super-tuned mosfet output section that churns out 600 watts of nuclear-style muscle and headroom. This creates a symbiosis between pre and power that results in truly commanding Tone. Pure. Fast. Accurate.

So when your musical journey takes you to the depths of your playing ability... board a ship that’ll get you there with confidence. Check out a Fathom. It doesn’t get any deeper.

Roadster LogoVOICE FEATURE:
Powerful 5 position VOICE control gives you all the power of a parametric EQ without the fuss. VOICE allows instant selection of four distinctly different EQ curves and Bypass. Choose position 1 or 2 that cuts midrange in two different frequencies for the ultimate warm, scooped R&B vibe. Or boost midrange in specific spots that enhance tight finger-style or Rock work with position 4 or 5. Can also be triggered remotely using the Rear Panel External Switch jacks.

PULL DEEP:
Convenient PULL DEEP feature allows you to select two ranges of fundamental for the BASS control. Normal (Pushed In) accentuates tight, percussive bottom that tracks with accuracy and cuts through a mix. Pull DEEP (Pulled Out) shifts the low end, enriching the sub-low and extreme-top to create warm, breathing air the whole band can ride on.

Fathom switch jacksFUNCTION SWITCH JACKS:
Five ¼” Function Switch Jacks are provided for remote triggering of the VOICE feature and the TUNER MUTE allowing you to build programs under a remote switching system for easier access in stage applications.
