Mesa Bass Cabs

Dear Mesa/Boogie, Ltd.

I’ve been playing bass for about 10 years, and Mesa is the first “pro gear” I’ve ever owned. I purchased my Buster Bass 200 Head in 2001 with my P.F.D. (permanent fund dividend; the pay out from oil that every Alaskan receives), and then used my next P.F.D. for my RoadReady 8X10 cabinet.

For the first time in my music career, I have equipment that I don’t ever need to upgrade. I made the smart move and got the “top of the line” right off the bat. My Mesa gear took me to a whole new level of playing… I was actually in over my head with this gear and it pushed me to a new stage in my playing.

I love the raunchy overdrive tone I get from my Buster Bass 200 “All-Tube” Head - I get the mean tube scream and the sweet harmonics that Mesa is famous for and the 8X10 cabinet handles all of my abuse with style and grace.

I messed around with cheap gear for too many years - It never gave me kick-ass tones, which turned out to be a waste of my hard-earned dollars. What I tell my friends is this: “Don’t mess around - Get a Mesa/Boogie, these amps will blow your socks off!”
