Designed as the soul-mate to the built in cabinet switcher found on our landmark Road King Amplifier, the new Road King Cabinets provide players with a new level of uncompromised performance and convenience through the use of a new and innovative "Dual Cabinet" design. This new design features both a tuned open-back side (left) and a sealed closed-back side (right), each of which may be used independently or combined, all within the same cabinet!

Each of these cabinets are custom built using the same premium quality materials and dimensions as our legendary 2x12 Rectifier (horizontal) and 4x12 Rectifier Standard Cabinets, including our renowned "over-sized" construction, which has become the worlds most revered for its massive, authoritative tone! What makes them unique is their new "left open & right closed" design versus the old "top open & bottom closed" design of our original "Half-Back" cabinets. This new "left open & right closed" design provides the optimum balance in speaker proximity, especially with regard to speaker distance from the floor, which creates the perfect tonal balance when switching between or combining either side. Each side is internally isolated from the other and a combination jack plate on the back of the cabinet allows for simple use of both the left & right sides, as well as a mono in & out for standard use.

To further optimize and enhance the performance of the Road King Cabinet's "split personality", we've loaded the closed-back side with V30's and the open-back side with C90's as standard equipment. While we feel this mix of speakers provides the most versatile combination overall, part of the benefit of this cabinet is in personalizing it to its owner's taste.
